Wow...makes my memories of my 45's feel ancient. I think my first 8 track was Black Sabbath.

Lost all of it in a flood!

Keep in mind them bug bombs leave a oily deposit all over the entire area...including the finish on your Corvette and anything else in the garage
Plus ants move very fast and live subsurface.

grits...sprinkle some grits in the area they are traveling. you can vaccum the excess up later. the ants will do 2 things. 1. they will eat the grits, and explode when they expand, and 2 they will carry the grits back to the mound and it will get rid of those also. once the queen is dead the others will pack up and move

I spray white vinager around where I find the little buggers they don't like the acid in it, and keep away. Try moth ***** they might work.

For my house I use stuff called "Ortho Max Home Defense". It's a fluid that you spray around the house and it works really really good. It leaves no odor and is pet friendly. It would probably work pretty good for your car.

Walmart sells it in a white jug with a red cap/sprayer.

The older you are the more old fashoned remedies you remember.
Not trying to hijack, but I raise you..........

Yes, it still works.

I still have my Black Sabbath/Black Sabbath 8 track in a box somewhere.
It was also my first, and most played, tape.

I had ants in my daily driver.
They seems to be nestingin the dead leaves/dirt that had accumulated
behind my front wheel well. I had both tiny ones and big ones.
If you left a soda can in the car, better not try to sip from it again.

So, I bought a package of MaxAttrax ant traps and left a few in/around
the car. No more ants, now.
