Default Need a New Rear Spring

After rebuilding my original '77 FE7 rear spring I'm not happy with the lack of arch under load (it's essentially flat) and one end seems to bend upwards a little like it's fatigued. I have a feeling it's a goner and should be replaced before it breaks and leaves me stranded or worse. I want to stick with an original style steel 2.25" 7 leaf. There's lots of them out there but I've heard there's a type with a 'beefed up' section out at the ends for extra strength at the attach points. Has anyone seen or heard of this style? Looking for a manufacturer or source.

Shortened rear leafs - for wide tires, yes.
Never heard of reinforced steel spring.
I think any new steel spring is plenty strong for many years.

Gulstrand has a heavy 5 leaf - should hold up better, but stiff (racing) ride.

BTW, sitting flat at rest is about right ... confirm with correct ride height and stock bolts.
Bending up - at rest ... maybe getting weak there.
