Iron clutch
Wassup guys, first tech Q...
The clutch on this car is insane. It literally probably takes about 80-100 pounds of pressure to depress, making it easier to push in than the BRAKES. To further annoy, the is new and is a race type, so if I dont push it all the way to the floor it'll ping/grind. I have pinged my second gear like 3 times trying to shift quickly, it seems now I really have to focus and push down hard to keep it happy.
Obviously this sucks for "performance driving" purposes as quick shifting is not possible. Is there a hyrdaulic conversion kit for this car or something that I can do to relieve this pressure? It hard to feather first gear since the clutch is grabby and takes so much pressure to hold down.
Every time I hop back in my nissan i suck at driving it for a while since im always mashing the clutch and not letting it up fast enough etc.
