Custom seats (dye experience needed)
Heres the deal, I have the oyster white int. in my vette and the seats need a change (getting beat up).....anyone every dyed the custom seats that everyone has seen on ebay. I have found a set I like (which are mainly white, with some black trim, I was wonding if anyone knows if I can dye the white seats to oyster white with a spray or can dye to match the dash and door panels. I think that they would look sweet!
Any ideas or suggetions?

well I have asked that question a few months ago and some ppl didn't recommend it.I dyed every thing else in the car except the seats as I didn't want to take the chance of having it rub off my cloths...
I did my steering wheel also and it came like new,your hands are always rubbing on it and no sign yet of fadding or peeling(something to think about)

After it drys I don't suspect it would rub off....my new worry is that the dye wouldn't dye the material the custom seats are....not sure if the are leather(dont think so)...does anyone know what materials the oyster dyes can change. Tell me what you think.
