Default Mallory distributor question

I have what appears to be an older Mallory mechanical advance distributor. The tach drive mechanism is missing. Does anyone know if Mallory sells tach drive mechanisms separate from the distributor? I have not had any luck finding any sources or info.

I've already had both of my Mallory's rebuilt. I doubt they will send you just the parts, but they offer a repair/rebild service. Just send them your distributor and it will come back like new. I'm not sure what they'll charge, but the y rebuilt my tack drive unilite with new bushings, advance assby, module and just about everything else inside for about $100. Much cheaper than a new distibutor. Here's a link to the web site with contact info. http://www.malloryperformance.com/As...aspx?BrandID=6

I appreciate everyone's posts and feedback. The model # is 2648201, a mecahanical adavance dual point. I tried to attach a photo but had technical difficulty. The rebuild service may be my best bet as the old tach drive appears to have disintegrated inside the distributor housing before it was removed by the previous owner so it needs to be taken apart, cleaned etc...

Does the $100.00 include replacing the tach drive, points, cap, rotor etc...? If so, this would probably be the most cost effective approach.

They only replace what you want them to. My tach drive was fine, but everthing else was bad and I sent it in with writen instructions to replace anything and everthing that was worn. Give them a call and they should be able to give you a ballpark price. They are extremely helpfull.
