Still a novice, can anyone tell me what these numbers mean?

Is this an L48 -- 190 HP
or
L82 -- 230 HP
What else do the numbers mean?

1 = Checrolet Motor Division
Z = Corvette
87 = Coupe
8 = L-48 ("6" fot L-82 and "H" for Californoa 305"s)
A = First year of the decade (ie; B for 1981, c for 1982, etc.)
S = St. Louis assembly plant
4 = place holder
14962 = sequencial build number. This Indicates your car was built about the third week of January, 1980.
