broken hood release cable. Hard to replace?

broken hood release cable. Hard to replace?
Was lining up the hood tonight and the wife pulled the release handle and the cable snapped. Luckily I was able to get the hood open from underneath. Is this cable something I have to order or can I get a replacement that will work from a parts house like autozone, advance, etc???

Wade, just a quick question, did the cable break or did the end slip off the cable. I had the end slip off on mine when the car was new to me. The end near the hood release latch. Just a thought.

Hmmm good question I will check that in the morning. I saw the handle in my wife's hand and just rolled my eyes....
So what are you doing up so late?? Watching the cup race???
