Vacuum line nightmare
Right now the headlights are sliced off the brake booster line which comes out of the intake behind the carb. That branch splices off again and goes into the cabin and down to the headlights. There's no check valve in site. Now from what I can tell, the brake booster should be on it's own line and the headlights should be coming out from somewhere else, with at least one 2 to 1 check valve spitting the two off (Although I've seen some cars with what looks like a second check valve closer to the vacuum source.
The port on the manifold has only a since end on it. Is that supposed to have two or is the headlight hose supposed to source from some other port?
The other thing that bothers me is that the vacuum line going to the AC/heater vent control is sliced off of the vacuum advance. That can't be good.
Can someone set me straight?
