Well any next I run the wireing for the courtecy lights and then I can hang the doors, hood, rear hatch, prep for paint and shoot this sucker!!!

No prob...a nice touch I added to my Vette, was a rear view mirror from a Sunfire. It's got the little maplights built in with button switches? It fits the lug glued to the windshield, and if you already have the moldings off, just tap it's wiring into the courtecy wiring of the Vette, and hook up the wire. Works great. They can be turned on with the doors closed for seeing what you're doing in the dark, and they come on when you open the doors. Something to consider.

I simply mounted the gauges thru the front of the bezel and secured them with the hold downs from the rear. This eliminates the need for the one piece lens cover that is normally needed. And I cut out most of the gauge mounting plate, leaving just the seatbelt light and reset button along with the two other indicater lights on the other side(door ajar and brake).
I must admit it did come out better than I expected!
As far as my E-Mail I get most of them, but I have had problems from time to time. Thats what I get for going with a small provider like COMCAST!!!

Do all the bezels from that year have those hold downs or was that added by your gauge kit?

the ultra lites cames w/wider aluminum brackets that i had to cut each one to fit around the terminals which i thought was pretty stupid then had to cut the legs on em to adjust for the trim rings. i dumped comcast & went w/WOW, much better especially the prices.

Either way they look amazing. If I didn't already have digital gauges I had wanted to upgrade to aftermarket gauges.

I received a black plastic hold down with each gauge. No work whatsoever. Just insert the gauge into hole and install hold down. Each hold down is secured with two knurled alum. nuts. Then wire per instructions. Easy as could be..

You'd recommend that to anyone with a C3 with your style console?
