81 Volt meter fixed!!!!!
A while back, I posted about the voltmeter not working. Got some great advise, followed through, but no luck. Well....I looking a schematics, and noticed they showed a two wire device......hummm.....went out and felt around behind the gauge.......mine is three wire. Then the light bulb shown bright above my head......the calibration resistor (like the temp and others have) is open I bet. Got a 500 ohm wirewound pot out of my electronics bin, took some jumpers....and tested....yep, it comes alive when engine is started. Made up a quick set of wires with terminals on ends, attached with brass nuts, dialed it in...DONE and did'nt even have to pull cluster!!!
