Lock & Load... Am I too old...
... To rock and roll? I got out 29 years ago... Combat Engineer... Loved Demolitions... Pretty good with Foo Gas & the Wicked Picket... Mines were fun... BOOM... I can field strip the M-1, M-14, M-16 & M-60... Couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from the inside with a grenade launcher. Reckon they'd take a 54 year old? I'm 1-Y (prior service), if I can find my draft card... They could keep the re-up bonus... Well, maybe not... I could get another Shark. I am so Pissed. Sign on for this one and you can see the sky... You just have to eat a lot of sand.
I think the technology may have passed me by... But I'm willin' to study. At least you can pick out the bad guys... They're not all wearin' pajamas, they're all wearin' night-gowns...
All kiddin' aside... This is gonna be won by grunts. They're gonna be on the ground and attack the enemy on his home ground... It's gonna be tough. I'm not sure how it's gonna go, but I'm sure it's time to be the meanest MF in the valley... And I don't give a rat's foot what other countries in the world think. They can go to hell... France included...

Somebody has just stepped in it deep. The Taliban are jabbering about how Ben Ladin couldn't have done it because they are just starting to realize what a world of hurt is about to descend on whoever is associated with this outrage. Boys, it's gonna get hot.

I got out of the U.S. Navy in 1989. I was a Gunnersmate Guns Secound Class (E-5). If called I'm ready to go !!! When the U.S. fought in Dessert Storm I went to the Navy Recruiter and was told " If needed they would call upon us as needed" ..."Proud to be an American"

I have never been in the military, and thank those of you who have, but should the time come that we need more troops (should it ever come to that) I am more than ready. This is kind of the first time I have had an urge to join. I guess I'm just really P**SED this time. :mad
