Header selection
I am looking for any advice on selecting a good moderatly priced set of headers for my 1979 corvette. I was thinking of getting summit racing block hugger ceramic coated or chrome. Also, I am assuming their are aftermarket brackets for the components the are mounted to the stock manafolds.

I used Headman Ceramic part number HED-68306 on my 72. I had to order a a/C rear mount bracket for the compressor Part number HED-20110. Both are available from Summit Racing. Jegs will have the headers, but the last time we checked they did not carry the bracket.

You can get the ceramic block huggers from ebay cheaper and they are good, but require a bit of massaging to fit. God bless, Sensei
