Default using original seat covers

Hey guys, I'm getting ready to tackle a seat rebuild, new foam and springs if needed. my question is can I re use my original leather covers or are they damaged during removal? they are showing some wear, but I rather like the look, considering the age of the car. Its a 72. thanks...Don

Not sure why you are rebuilding them, but if you are careful, you shouldn't do any damage to the covers. Just follow procedure for disassembly and don't get them into any kind of bind where you are stressing the sewn seams. Put them back on carefully....especially if you end up going with new foam bottom/back.
