Headers keep melting spark plug boots, SUGGESTIONS???

Just reading this get's my juice's going. I can not wait until I get my 502 running. If the pressure plate and disc come in tomorrow I can start back.
I ordered the complete pully system from concept one today. Damn why does it take so long to get stuff..........

I use thermotec wrap on my Hedman headers, and the thermotec sleeves. my spark plug wires are the MSD's with the adjustable angle boots, angled to the max (135* angle?). also used the smaller plugs, the 5/8" ones, not the 13/16" ones.
that's worked. the #1 plug on the drivers' side is probably the worst one, combination of header tube angle, and spark plug angle.

Just received 2 of this extensions. Good job, took 10 days from ordering till I received them in Luxembourg, Europe. Shipping / handling came only 16 $ delivered to my front door. No extra import tax ( for once ).
Well, they work, but funny enough, the ignitor plugs did not fit into the extensions because the ceramik ignitor rings where thicker as the hole in the extensions.
Had to grind a couple of rings slightly down , and that's not easy as ceramik is super hard stuff.
The plugs I'm using are CHAMPION N12YCC .
Now I need a nice new set of wires as this once are baked and burned, but now away from the heat source.
