Removing injectors
I've got an 82CE with the crossfire engine.Well I came accross two brand new NOS injectors.Can someone explain how to swap out the old and put in the new.Things like do I have to disconnect the battery cables,will it confuse the computer ect.On a 1-10 scale how hard is it.Again thanks in advance.The injectors are one front and one rear,so I know I have the right set up.

They should be like every other GM TBI setup - disconnect the wires, unscrew the Torx screws that attach the top of the injector retainer to the bottom, pull off the retainer, and pull the injector out. The injector will probably be stuck, you will probably have to play with it a bit to get it out.

Well that sounds doable.I've got a brand new crossfire setup complete with manifold and all wires.It was taken off back in 82 right after the owner bought the Vette!!!This thing is a beautiful piece.But it's time to use some of the parts.Whatever I take off my car I'll just put them back in place of the new ones,after a good cleaning of course.
