Hooker Side Pipes
Hey guys, this is my first time posting. It's great to have a source of Vette knowledge like this. I have a '69 350/350 that I am getting ready to start rebuilding. I've always loved the look of sidepipes and plan to go that route when the time comes and the money is available. Instead of the stock sidepipe look, I'm leaning towards the chrome side exhaust type sold by Hooker (the kind where the collector pipes are visible just behind the front wheel. Can anybody tell me anything about them, if they work well, how they affect performance and if they are bad to discolor?
