TPS Adjustment
I put a new TPS in the car and adjusted it to .54V with the ignition in the 'on' position but not running. This is correct right? I also replaced the fuel filter. It still does the same exact thing. When you floor it in Park it hesitates and then revs up. I guess its going back to the shop. I really don’t want to drill any holes to find the correct fuel psi. It’s a 82 corvette with the cross fire injection.
Is there anything else I could check before taking the car an hour away. Its been like three weeks and several phones call and these guys will not answer our calls. Maybe I’ll drive it out there and hope to get them. Should I check the IAC or any other sensor that’s related to the throttle?
When changing the fuel filter fuel wouldn’t stop coming out of the hose. Is this suppose to happen. Ive changed fuel filters on several other cars and never experienced this. Does this mean the pump is always running?
Any ideas are appreciated.
