Salt water environment???

Salt water environment???

Looking at a car on the FL coast. Should I be worried about corrosion from being in a "salt water" environment?

If corrosion is a problem is there anything you can do to stop it other than doing a "frame off" and stripping/recoating the frame?

If on the coast and by the water there could be some problems, all the way into the metal in the doors. If it was inland, probably a good car. Check for hood bumps!

So can you stop it once it starts? I don't think moving the car out of that environment will stop the corrosion (I live in north MS). I think you would have to clean/coat/spray something to stop it wouldn't you?
