Hood release - real trouble.

Hood release - real trouble.

Oh Oh!. I was fitting my new hood. I only have the left latch attached to the hood. The cross cable is not on. The pull-handle was in the latched position (in). I thoght I had the latch in the un latched position and I pushed the corner of the hood down to check fit. The son-of-a-gun latched! Now what the pull release doesn't release. Do you suppose that the lever is behind the release lever? How do I get at it? It is a 75 and I put one of those plastic covers on at the base of the windshield.

Please help!!!!

Searches expire, unfortunately. I've had it happen in the middle of a research session here. The best way to get around it is to either post the search terms that you used, or just post the links to the appropriate threads.

There is a lot if information in the archives about stuck hoods. Corvette FAQ might have an article, too.
