Default brake help

Hey guys, I just finished installing my new rear rotors and brake pads all the way around. I bled the brake system and took my car out for a spin. Well, when i finished driving I could smell a burnt brake smell. I narrowed it down to the drivers rear which was really hot at wheel. Just to let you know its not the emergency brake causing the brake smell. Well i looked at the new rotor and there are grooves cut into it...any idea where i should go from here...is this a sign the caliper is frozen. Help..marty

Did you replace the brake hose's on the car? You might have a brake hose collapsing on the car and holding pressure on the caliper when you release the pedal. Some pads with new rotors will be tight too! You might take off the wheel off the car and have someone press the brake pedal on the car while you watch it. You should be able to see the pad mover in and out on the pad pin when you do this. Are you sure this is only on one side?

Yep, I had the same symptoms and had to replace the brake hose.
