You are asking pretty generic questions. I'd check Jegs and Summit Racing. They seem to have good prices on various headers. I went with the Dynomax ceramic coated headers for somewhere right around $200. If you get ceramic coated headers, the warning that they will discolor if they get too hot (ie you are running too lean) is true. I ignored it and mine are not nearly as shiny as before. Oh well.
You didn't give enough information for anyone to tell you what gear ratio you have. If you are an auto, you probably have a 3.08, I'm not sure what the 4 speeds had. Try lifting the back end up and marking the drive shaft and then spinning the tires through one revolution and counting the drive shaft revolutions.
Should be a code stamped on the bottom of the pumpkin. Two letters AU for example. Can't remember where I found the codes, but I think it was the Corvette Black Book (my copy is in box somewhere so I don't have it handy right now).
1. Assume you want cheap...Summit #SUM-G9003 @ 79.50 BTW they have FREE catalogs...1-800-230-3030 2. After ordering Headers suggest you let friendly local muffler shop hook 'em up (sometimes two mail order kits dont match up) 3. Go to smokemup.com for all kinds of neat formulas to figure out your rear ratio if you're too lazy to jack the car up....
