Track duty is guaranteed overheat IF you drive 98% or more.
Personal experience is worse than expected, SPA F1 track high speed, lots of cooling and still overheat and go reduced power after 3-4 hard laps.
Street tires, not CUP tires....
BUT car is impressive as hell WHEN everything is up to 100% duty...
Porsche 991 GT3 RS with Cup 2 tires and good driver was lunch for our Z06.
2.48 laps as best...
My friend drive a lot more nice, 3.07 in his Z06 and has no cooling issues :blue angel:
Nurburgring, not even a 100% attack mode as my son was riding with me, and it overheated... i guess thats why we haven't seen any GM official times, it overheats before end of lap?
Bilsterberg also overheated after 2 laps, its a technical 2.6 mile track with lots of elevation changes and less area to cool....
I am thinking GS and a little extra HP will be my next toy..... ?
But let me underline... C7 Z06 is a fantastic car, drive like a caddy on street and a race car with license plate on track.... with cooling issues

Not that it's the best conditions for comparing, but our C7Z really struggles on the track out here in Vegas. Can barely get through 5 laps without it overheating. Even when it's cool out it can't go much more than that.
