Is there anyone with an ACCURATE drawing/scetch of the brackets needed for putting R&P on my C3?? I have the car in pieces, I have a complete rack so I don't want to shell out for the steroids thing (and pay hefty taxes and shipping fees to get it here) I can easily make them myself, if only i had an accurate drawing. Can anyone help??
Like you I can make everything myself and I am considering picking up a rack and start working on mounting it. I haven't really tried yet but the car went away last weekend for the winter and I am starting to once again strip it down. I don't like the steering in the vet. I have a 89 mustang sitting beside it and will see how much it would take to duplicate the steering. I am friends with a local stock car driver and he has build nice cars for the last 40 years and he WELDS alot of his own steering linkages. Bothers me with the welding but if down properly he claims they stand up.
If you find out anything please post.

Oh, since I live in the Netherlands, should I investigate into the Saab & Opel racks (Calibra's and similar "sporty" cars are really common here)
I'll ask, there certainly are some that have less than 3.5 turns, my mom had a sporty opel (tigra, the car sucked...) but it had less than 3.5 turns! I think it was 2.5 or 3. Also the steering was not linear, full power assist on slow speeds, less than 25% when travelling fast (dunno how that worked, probably has to do w/ the front wheel drive)
Marck, a friend of mine did this conversion few years ago using most of the parts from OPEL Senator 3.0 24v. I think there was something about the 24v having quicker steering(less rounds from lock to lock) than the normal Senator...? He has been very satisfied with the result. I'll check him for further details and get back to you as soon as possible!
