I don't have a shop - I have a garage with a bar that's out of beer. So bring the carb and some beer and I'll set you up.

Are you off of hiatus? I got this carb that needs your tlc. It's actually off of the manifold right now. I was gonna take it apart to see what jets and rods and hangers are in there, because I have no clue. Did you give any thought to my proposition of comming out to Santa Barbara County for a tuning tour? Hey, are you a rocket scientist for real? So am I. Where do you work and what are you working on? I'm at Vandenberg AFB working on NRO Atlas V and Delta IV EELV missions and one Delta II mission.

Bee Jay -
No, I'm still not able to do full testing on the carbs - I have limited testing ability that I can send you info on if you e-mail me at
V8FastCars@msn.com

I don't believe I have received a proposal from you on a TFB. Do you have the TFB Guidelines info sheet so you can put one together?

I'm engineering & test engineering with Lockheed Martin Propulsion Lab Denver. I do a lot of work out at VAFB in support of A-V (SLC-3) so I'll have to look you up next time I'm out.

If you get lars's rocket scientist rear in SoCal, Bee Jay, you better believe I'm attending!

I've been trying to figure out a way to get him out here but have limited facilities.

West of the 8? o_O The 8 runs east and west...

I live in Mira Mesa and approx 2.8 miles from work. I get to see the air show for free from my backyard.

TJ north is San Ysidro and Imperial Beach. What do you expect, though? They're RIGHT on the border, every city has a slum section, anyways.

I prefer to be able to race in autocross year round and be able to drive it year round, too. I can also ride my motorcycle year round and never have to wear anything heavier than a flannel shirt at night. If I want snow I'll drive an hour up to palomar mountain.

Yeah I meant west of the 15.

East Chula Vista is getting as bad as IB. I use to live in IB too way back when. I remember the Border Patrol Helo's overhead every night.

East Chula? You mean like Eastlake? I have a friend that lives out there, it's not that bad there. However, I've only been around where she lives which is next to Eastlake golf course.

Dang it. I was just out at the Waterton facility last month for the Atlas V QPMR. But if you come out here regularly for bidness, we could extend it a bit thru the weekend and do a TFB. How do I get a worksheet? I got a guest room, a three car garage, and a lift. I have a good friend that brews his own beer. I got an outdoor kitchen and I'll grill all the tri-tip you can handle. Do I have you interested yet? Come on down. Booster on stand was yesterday. I think we need you down here real soon. Do you know Norm Bob? I bet we know each other or some of the same people. It's a small world.

The man lives in Colorado and comes from a frozen place up north.
Virginia's winter is probably short pants weather for him, AND less
ice is required for beer cooling purposes. I proclaim Virginia the winner.
And I durn near put one of those icons after what i wrote!
Norway, I remembered.

Exactly he lives in Colorado, he needs a break from winter!

Here in SoCal we can live without A/C AND the heater! That's how awesome it is here.
