I live in houton, I'm 21 years old I have never seen anything like this
Living in America with it's crazy economic cycles is a lot like getting in a fist fight. You feel the first few punches and they hurt a lot, but after a few minutes your so full of truma that you don't feel the punches so much anymore. Welcome to reality!
Welcome to reality! .... When I was your age I was in Vietnam ! We didn't do the job then, now it is your turn. Do it right, so your son or grandson doesn't have to do it again.
Gotta agree with GDaina and Wanderer. Welcome to life. The sad part is those born in the 70's who went to work in the 90's have no idea what it's like to go through a business cycle. They got a job and the market took off. Socked money into their 401K's and believed that investments did nothing but go up. Well, guess what...NOT!!!! I don't wish bad on anyone, but this is what it's all about. It goes up, it goes down, but historically it has always gone up more than down. Kinda like two steps forward, one step back. If the economy did nothing but go up, we'd ALL be millionaires and drive C3's (not C5's)
Aeroshark,
I was born in 1943. Have seen a lot in in these 58 yrs. I have owned my own business three yrs before you were born. I remember Houston back in the early 80's when the oil economy went south.
Sorry, but the reality is when you get to the age of 58. You will probally have experienced 100 times more than I went thru in my life.
We are leaving you and your generation in charge.
Good Luck..........
