69 350/350 engine re-build ???????

I have the original 350 block and alum GM intake. He trashed the crank. I have angle plug heads, like new, he had them cleaned (they have alum keepers on the springs-should I keep them), hooker cermaic headers for same. 750 Holly, (like new) alum case trans and org flywheel and bellhousing.
He has roller rockers but I am thinking I want hyd roller rockers.
I need crank, rods (thinking alum), pistons, lifters, rockers, push rods, cam, timing chain.
Tell me what you would do. Thanks Paul

If you can not regrind the crank you might want to stroke it.
The angle plug heads are fine if they fit the headers and you want to re-use them.
Aluminum rods are not preferred on anything with a liscense plate. If you have some already you might run them but Eagle SIR's are very nice for the money. They come with better bolts already.
Roller rockers or hydraulic roller lifters? Different parts there.
Hydraulic roller lifters are pretty expensive if you want the ones that will last a while. The cheapies will not last and will send lots of metal around the inside of the engine when they fail.
The retainers could be titanium which are OK. If they realy are aluminum they should be thrown in the trash before they cause you to drop a valve and throw the whole engine in the trash.
As always JMHO.

I looked at the keepers again, they are the tit. ones. good to go.
I want a pretty good cam but streetable.
I think I will go with the rods you suggest.
I am told I need to be 10.4 to 1??
You just need to pick a cam to match that C/R and the rest of your application.
