Fuel pump installation notes
To follow up on my broken fuel pump, I bought a chrome Holley mechanical pump 12-834 to replace a broken stock replacement. I just thought I’d share some installation problems with the Holley pump. 1) The Holley’s inlet/outlet is clockable, but they are not in the same orientation as a stock pumps inlet/outlet relation. 2) The Holley is shorter which makes the inlet/outlet fitting clearance very close to the frame or motormount brackets. So, additional 90 deg fuel line fittings are necessary to make things fit.
