79 SB to BB swap

79 SB to BB swap
I know, I know. Not another one.
But I've read through the archives and want more information.
I've gone from buying a new (but used) daily driver all the way to keeping the 12 year old hunk of junk in order to get more horsepower and torque in my stock '79.
That has gone from a SB 350 to a 383 and now up to a BB 454 LS6 (which I noticed the forums). gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Last fall/winter, I rebuilt the suspension and brakes so all thats really left is the engine/transmission and differential.
I just don't know where to go with this.
Has anyone swapped a BB into a 79 and what kind of problems did you run into? I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to do this, but for some reason, my old man doesn't think its possible. I can't remember his reasons, but I'll give him a call tonight. He'll be my help along the way of any engine swap.
