converting from crossfire to carb

Have to have a different distribitor. (1980 or earlier)
The computer controls the converter lock-up on the trans.
A trans. shop can help you on that.
The detent cable(throttle and trans. kick-down) might give you a little trouble. Don't drive it if the trans. is wanting to slip.
If you go with a high-rise...you'll have to get a drop down filter base.
I had to cut the under side of my hood, also.(the extra meat to fit around the fuel bodies)
I've never hooked up my cruise control yet. Don't know what that will take.
P.S. The more you clean and paint without a lot of motor in there. The better it will be for you.(don't ask how I know)
I can't think of anything else.

One more thing....fuel regulator

I'd already replaced the fuel pump(put it on the frame beside the tank).
something else you'll have to have... is a fuel regulator. I didn't use the return line.
I've just got the wires stuffed away.
I ordered the detent cable and brackets(don't ask where). Someone on the forum helped me out with that.
I have a different rear....3:55
Don't have a scanner. Of course, it looks just like any other s/b
Haven't tore anything up yet. Of course, I don't drive it like a 16 year old.
