427V8, Everybody knows you don't put grease on the rotors, you put that blue anti-squeak stuff on them. I managed an Autozone for five years and I used to tell my employees to try not to laugh so hard at them. Just go to the backroom and write done these dumb things and someday we could put it all in a bestseller and retire. Hershey

To think I built my first 500+ horse big block at age 17 on my own.. The only
help I had was degreeing the camshaft (the guy lost the instructions so I
was lost too...) All ca say is THANK YOU dad for being a car nut and being
my teacher..... I AM SO glad I don't grease my bleeders

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, this is one good post that puts a smile on my face for the rest of the day...Huhuhuhuhahahaha, it´s so funny.
I´m not a carspcialist either, but I´m always trying to be :D
Of course there are much things I don´t know, but I´ll learn.....
But greaing the calipers, so greasing brakes, man, that´s something even my grandmother would have known to be the wrong way.
Still laughing about this post, puh!

Years ago when I was working the lube bay on a saturday morning we used to let the customers into the shop so they could inspect the underneath of their car. I had a customer say you missed a grease fitting. pointing to the bleeder valve. He made a big stink over the fact that the grease fitting was missed. Since I firmly believe the customer is always right  I shot grease on the bleeder valve of coarse the grease didn't go anywhere except all over the back of the backing plate. For years all the guys in the shop greased his bleeders to keep him happy
must have been the dad or the grandfather of your guy RJR99ss and he passed it down. somewhere along the line they opened the valve. your story the best I've heard for a long time.
