Forgot to say that I liked chrome , style and speed. Don't knock a J2 olds or the old ponts with 4 speed hydromatics. A 389 setup right could knock the socks off some mid 70's thru early 80's vettes
Which other older cars do I have? Heres some of the others, all available.
Most are in my Corvette Photos.
23T Roadster, 289
57 Thunderbird 312
57 Olds 371
66 GS Riviera 425
67 SS Camaro L78
68 SS Camaro L72
68 SS Camaro LS7
68 Corvette L88
70 Cuda convert A990 426
73 SS El Camino/Leguna 454
95 Z28 convert

Hey Ironcross. Do you get all these cars into a collector insurance policy. Im in WI and most of the insurance companies want the car
to be 20 years or older. I even had one company told me that the corvette had to a 70 or older.

Auto Parts and Service department state approved. It wasn`t exactly correct as I rarely sell any cars, but I qualified. With all my junks I would have been insurance poor and I certinally wouldn`t get any free Katrina money. Wrong persuasion.
However try Haggerty in Northern Michigan, possibly in Petoske. The owner got into the insurance business because no one would insure his boat. Pretty square shooter and hes on the web. Lots of fun...

I had a '71 Cutlass Convertible with a factory tach and 4 speed. It was let go to make room for my (then) new '04 Viper.
As far as fantasy old cars (all 4 speeds!!): '70 Hemi Cuda Convertible, '69 Z28 ZR-1 Camaro Convertible, '69 ZR-1 Corvette Convertible (I will likely build my '69 into one if its hot small block ever blows up), '71 SS454 El Camino LS-6, and to pick a Ford, a '69 Shelby GT500 convertible......
Below are my current oldies plus my new flagship:

My wife says we need more toys, god I love her
We still have her 67 Mustang, she bought it as a senior in high school from, no lie, a little old lady a block away. Nothing to special, a/c, disc front brakes, 289, great car, our only car for a decade. Then there's the Vette, a 39 Plymouth 2 door slant back sedan started working on a couple of months ago and down to one Harley, we had three but ran out of room in the garage, I restore antiques to calm the nerves. Also the two daily drivers,a Dodge truck and Ford Windstar.
If there were a vehicle I still don't have it would be a 67 Charger in dark blue, 4spd 383. Mom and dad would sneak us in the drive in the trunk, aahh the good ol days....

Other than the 81 vette I am restoring, I have one other that is 80% frame off restored. 66 GTO. Black ext. Gold interior. 389 tripower, 4spd. PS,PB A/C. A rock solid Arizona car, built in Cal. Have had it in dry storage since 1994. Should be finished in 2 years. Also no lie, the orginal owner until I bought it was a lady in prescott Arizona. She had every piece of paperwork since new as well as the key blanks & protecto plate. A true find.
Someday I will own a 1934 Ford 2 door 3 window coupe street rod.

When they first came out, I was in the Air Force. I always liked a 69 Plymouth Road Runner Convert. I'm slowly learning to be happy with what I have though. Cars we've had for years & enjoy driving once we get in them, 1930 Ford 2 dr. sedan & 1929 Ford Roadster. Both restored to original for many years now.We drove the 2 dr. from Mich. to Virginia as a club back in the 80's, been up to the Mackinaw bridge with it several times. The roadster has only been as far as the bridge. Yes, we drive on the slow side of the road. But it's amazing how much you see at the slower 50 mph pace.
I bought my amx in 1977, the year after I graduated from high school. I tell my corvette buddies that I also drive the "other" american 2 seater sports car...lol.
I would take another '69 ('vert this time) or my '77 coupe I totalled 22 years ago, my '69 Cutlass I had in high school, any Shelby Cobra, or basically any car built in '69. IMHO the best year ever for cars across the board.
My 15 year old just picked out his high school car. It is a '71 Nova. I was so proud of him. It brought a tear to my eye (because of all the work it needs)
I got for $800. It goes in the shop right after my '69 is done.

I want:
1996 Nissan 300ZX twin turbo
1996 Chevrolet Corvette
1977 Ford Maverick
1975 Bricklin SV-1
1968 Pontiac Firebird
1948 Pontaic Silver Streak Sedan
And a 1998 Yamaha YZF R6 (Black)

That's all right now. The list changes from time to time, but these above have lasted long time.

Stick- very nice collection and nice work!!
I always wanted and bought vettes, passed on many Chevelles,Nova's, Mopars, and antiques. Never liked any Fords enough to buy one, working on the early 70's ford cars was enough for me.
I would like to get a 64 ss chevelle and late body impala. Maybe a 73 SS Chevelle as you don't see many of them.
WHAT,..No one wants a 75 Pacer? My sis bought a new 75 with 258 6 cyl and 3 spd manual!! I always wanted to hot rod that thing but they ran over 100k miles and it finally rotted away.
