Default 1981 engine rebuild - help please

Ok - started the rebuild. pistons are in and new cam, oil pump etc.

Pistons have different letters and numbers on them.. J and H ??

Started cleaning up the alloy 58cc heads, that all looks ok.

But when I unpacked the ebay Rochester - not so good !!!!!! Choke missing. etc.

So, for the timebeing. remember I am in the UK........ can I use this one ?????

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Can always pick up a new one when I go to Florida in January.

No puter anymore

In short you can use any carb you want, but it will effect the performance and gas bill. It sounds like you will only use it short term so no worries, coming from a big block the jet metering will be wrong but your car will run and in January you can get the right one.
