Default Where does this fit?

Hi, I am finally getting around to putting the interior back into my 78 and ran into this part and can't figure out where it goes. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like the plastic protector inside the door above the door latch and to the rear of the window guide.

That's a door lock shield. Its a security piece that is supposed to keep your lock from being tampered with through the window channel.
