Default tach drive distributor ?
my 72 has a worn/broken tach drive gear inside the distributor. what is the servicable part? can you replace on the gear, or does the whole distributor shaft need replacing? availbility on these parts?

Check the inside of housing to see whether the drive gear has dug a hole . If so you must install a thrust bushing or youll be replacing the shaft and drive gear real soon.
