Default Repainting Bumpers?

I'm starting to see the end of stripping the body, maybe another week or two at the longest. I removed both bumpers before starting so I'm starting to think about them. The rear bumper cover is a fiberglass replacement form Eckler's (it has Eckler's sticker on it). The front bumper cover looks like it is orginial, it's kind of a yellow color on the inside. It also has 2 stickers on it, both are about 1" square and they look like inspection stickers. So, I guess I can strip the fiberglass rear bumper with stripper since it is fiberglass. But the front I don't know. Is the only thing that I can do is sand it? Also from what I've read it sounds like it need to paint the body and the bumpers separate and then install them. It sure looks easier to install before painting so they are on the car when it goes to the paint shop. Any info would be helpful.

currently in same position helping a friend who is a body man and 82 owner paint mine . we are down to the glass also. about the bumpersbest to paint them off the car or loosen and pull them back alittle. you dont want paint built up between car and bumper . over time it could crack in that area. :yesnod:
