Default Idle...

Hey guys after driving around for a while my idle gets real low like she wants 2 stall...I also noticed some dark smoke coming from the exhaust..Is this signs of a idle adjustment or something else...Thanx...Jerrylee...

Sounds like it might be running too rich. An adjustment on the fuel/air mixture on the carb may help. Also check your float bowl levels to make sure they are not too high. The only other thing I can think of is that the choke may be sticking. Good luck.

Can I adjust the carb by changing the idle mixture screws in the front of the carb...........Jerrylee///

yes, and "IF" that's the problem that may fix it. but there could be other issues. float level, etc. is the choke ALL THE WAY OPEN when the engine is warmed up? a stuck choke could cause it to run rich too.

when warmed up be sure the choke is completely off.
