New Lokar pedal covers went on today, what ya all think. I was even able to modify the brake pedal, as to move it over to the left a bit. Makes more room for the gun boats.
How did you modify the brake pedal, and do you have a part number for those pedals? They're tight.
I do, somewhere. I'll go through my papers tomorrow. I keep them at work.
The back of the pedal covers are milled out aprox. 1/4" deep, leaving aprox. 3/8" of "frame" if you will on all sides.
By removing the "frame" or material on the right side, now you can shift the padal over to the left. You'll notice on the pic, the pedal is not centered to the pedal arm. When installed you can't see that the right side is open & the old pedal is exposed. Not even from the passenger side, as the console prehibits that. I'll get you the part numbers, I do recall they were advertised as Camaro models. Lokar makes them, I bought them at Summit.
I thought of those to, then it dawned on me they would most likely
pop off
I dont think so, they are "barbed" rubber buttons that go all the through the material and expand on the back side. Very durable. Options, don't ya just love them?
I bought some from them for my upcoming conversion from auto to manual. I even had them personalize with "Stingray" in script ont hem.
Look pretty cool.

I got them at Summit, they are made by Lokar, the numbers are below. For those who asked about the clutch padal, they do make one, just measure the steel pedal plate after removing the rubber cover and call Lokar for a pedal cover for those dimensions, then go to Summit. They have one.
As promised, here are the pics of the pedals I got from ultimatepedal. They are extremely light. I also bought the little grip nobbies but I am going to wait until I have the pedals mounte before I put those in.

Thanks for that info. I like the look of those pedals. How's the feel when using them? Have you driven with them installed yet? They look to have pretty goo dgrip, and moving the one over is genious.

The pedals feel great, yes, I have driven them quite a bit already. They have the "perfect" feel. You get the grip you need, yet you can easily slide your foot for positioning while driving. NO regrets, very pleased. I was worried about "all alum or all SS" ones being too slippery, not these!!!

Very cool. I have been looking into the after market pedals, but knew nothing of any of them and you've helped me narrow it down a bit.
