Default Need help finding parts

I need help finding the following '68 (or compatible) parts:

1
For the seats I need to replace the striker plate for the seat back latch.

2
Also for the seats I need the return spring for the seat track release bar.

3
I need to know what to get to connect my throtle cable to the carb (braket, pins, etc)

4
Can I use standard cotter pins in place of the G-clips in the shifter and clutch linkages?

Eklers was not able to help me while I made my order for other parts this morning.

THANKS!

I have used cotter pins in a few places to replace those curly-cue clips. They seem to work fine. If there is a problem using cotter pins that I don't know about I would like to hear it! I actually got a few of those clips and I couldn't figure out how to get them on securely. The cotter pin I figured out pretty easily. I did have some cotter pins that were too big to fit thru the holes, I think on the trans linkage, so I got smaller ones.

You can use them but the G clips are better. If your looking for used parts try JT Piper but hold onto your a$$ cause he is not cheap.

The G clips have a little bit of spring built in.I think it just keeps everything a little tighter.I dont think there is anything terrible about cotter pins I just like the G clips.
