Default plug wires...what sizes/etc?

since i can finally finish up the front of the motor, i'm going to switch out the wires..... what would you recommend for a 350sbc with a mild cam and regular dist...... or should i upgrade to a better system and what do they usually run.....

if i can get green colored wires that would be a bonus

Might as well upgrade. I like the MSD wires but there are other good ones out there. Get the uncut ones so you make them fit the way you want.

msd 8mm, pre measured over the valve cover wires...something like $70 or $80 i don't remember

I bought a SB GM Performance Parts Spark Plug Wire Set Part # 12361056 for my new ZZ4 but they were incorrect and I cannot use them. They had 135 degree boots on them and I needed 90 degree to clear my headers. I paid $83 for them at Summit. They are bright red with the GM logo and are still new in the box. If you want a good deal IM me.

i have a blue set now and i also needed the 90's since i have headers too...it's a pain when you buy the wrong stuff........

i went searching and think i'll hold off to get a better setup.... i just need to get the car running before it gets tooo cold.....

Have run Moroso 8MM 90* boot "Blue Max" on two engines. HEI and non HEI. They come in red or blue. High heat boots NEVER melted when close to headers. I make my own for a custom fit with never a wire problem.

those are the wires i have now...i cut/fit them..... the motor is different now......

I have the yellow Accel 8mm Super Stock wires on mine. I agree with getting the uncut set and trimming them the way you want them.

Taylor makes high quality wires ... and Taylor offers GREEN wires in 8mm. Please ... please warn me before you open your hood.
