Do I need to Prime the diff?

The diff is out of my car and I cleaned it all out.

When I put the yokes back in to I need to prime the races with grease or oil? How about the new yoke seals or other parts.

The diff is completely dry... all of the old oil is completly cleaned out.

is it just drained out or washed out? If just drained no problem just refill with lube and additive. If it is in fact dry then pre lube and then put it back together

I used brake cleaner to totally get all of the old oil and grime out. It is totally dry.

Now that I'm ready to put the new outer seals on and put the yoles back in... I'm not sure if anything needs to be primed with oil or grease.

Normally you should use assembly lube, but if you just fill it and rotate by hand it should be ok

Whe I assemble a diff I use grease on the rubber seals to lube them. I use some 90 wt gear oil on the bearing and journals on the yokes.
