Default Headlight ajar switch adjustment

Got my headlight covers allined ,and thanks to all that helped me :cheers: They open and closed fine now.But the micro switch is indicating that the door is ajar.,when there open/How is this ajusted?Dose it screew in or out? Hard to tell from the AIM or the Hatnes manual/ :seeya

Hey, glad to hear that you got your lights aligned....now for your other question, it sounds like the lights are not "snapping" all the way up. If that is the case, you have to adjust(lenghten)the travel of the actuator arm by unscrewing the eye bolt so that the light "snaps" up and the micro switch makes contact with the light linkage. If you lay on your back and look up through the holes in the bottom of your front lower valance, you will see the light mechanism and the micro switch and where it makes contact.

Thats it need about 1/4 to 3/16 to go.Will adjust tommarrow. It"s great when you get a answer to a problem like this ,thats why this sight is #1
