Ok so i pulled the corvette (auto) out for a little freaking mirror work and i noticed the small resemblence of tranny fluid under where the corvette was parked. Im guessing its just a small leak since it wasn't much.
So the question here is should i buy some stuff from autozone to fix the leak or should i have it checked. Also how do i put in this junk if i buy it?

magical elixirs.....i don't have any real confidence inthem ....try to find the leak...look on the pass side where the kick down throltle cable comes in for starters (on a th350)
I would not worry about a couple drops of tranny fluid on the floor. If you take it to a shop, they're going to recommend pulling it and replacing all the seals, etc., for several hundred $. At that leakage rate, it would take years probably to loose a quart, and even then, that is not enough to do any damage. Just keep your eye on it so that it doesn't become a major leak.
Re-torque the pan bolts to spec. and see if the leak stops. And....NO WAY should you put and cr&p like that sealer in an automatic transmission. Hope it seals. If not, change the fluid, filter, and gasket and your problems should be solved.

Also check the speedo cable connection. Even with new seals, gear, and clamp...I couldn't get my '77 TH350 to stop dripping there...
