Default Rear end problem

I have a problem on my 72 with the rear end. I had a bent spindle and two bent yokes both sides that bolt to the spindles. (i got the car this way) Ended up replacing the complete trailing arm assembly, new yokes and u joints on the side shafts and the rotors. After I bled the brakes, I ran the car with the wheels off to check the work while on jack stands. The whole suspension is now moving side to side especially noticeable on the left side. I dont see anything, but could it be a bent side shaft or a problem with the differential. It sounds as if the car has a knocking sound because of it. Anyone had a problem like this before? Appreciate any help on this one

If you ran the car on jack stands with the suspension hanging it will bind up the joints. You can support the arms in the drive position with jacks. Lateral movement cna be poor bearing installation, worn side yokes in the differential, frt T arm bushing not flared. Look over these, if you have more then 1/16 yoke movement in the diff you have to drop it out and repair it.

I wouldn't think that the rear suspension should sag enough to bind up the U-joints?
