help with proform hei spring and weight kit
I bought this kit in the UK,is it any good? has anyone had experience fitting the springs,my present setup is about halfway between light and medium (gold & silver). Do I need to use the new weights with the springs as you can tell I'm no timing expert.

use your old weights and most of us use one light and one medium spring....make sure that the distributor shaft that the weights and springs rotate on moves freely....if its sticking you need to pull the distributor and clean and lubricate the shaft and while your at it....shim the distributor shaft down by the gear

I just did mine. I used Mr Gasket part number 928G. For HEI I used the two gold springs With Vacuum disconnected I am at 16 degrees at idle and 36 at 2800 RPM
