Door bushings
Has anyone had any experience in changing the bushings in the door hinges in a 79. I cannot get the top hinge pin past the curve or the top of the door. Is it necessary to remove the hinge

Mike; The top pin usually comes very close to the fender but it shouldn't be close to the door. If it is close to clearing it but not quite, take a die grinder or a file and remove one side of the head on the pin. This may let it clear the fender. Of course you will need to do the same to the new pin. Good Luck, Craig :chevy
