Default 406 Ready To Rumble

Here she is boyz. Ready to slap on the carb & starter and take to the dyno. With the Holidays comming, I won't have the cash to do so anytime soon, but after the new year...VAROOOM!!!! It was built for at least 475 hp and close to 500 Ft Lbs. I've given these stats in a previous post, but for newcommers...this is what I've built.
GM 817 casting 2 bolt 400 block fully machined & clearanced
Weiseco forged flat tops 10.1:1
Eagle forged 6" H beam rods
Scatt 9000 crank W/ARP main studs
AFR 210's 76cc W/Isky springs
750 Holley ontop of Professional Products Crosswind (RPM Airgap clone)
Hooker Supercomp Sidepipes W/STS Baffels
Crower Hydro roller 230-236 dur @ .050 .544-.555 lift @ 1.5 112LSA
Crower Hrdro roll lifters
Comp Pro Magnum roll rockers
Manley timming chain & moly pushrods
Melling oil pump
All infront of a Hays Borg & Beck style clutch.

Crower makes two more "Hydro Roll High Lift" series cams bigger than mine, so if this one doesn't do it...I'll go bigger.
Eddie

Those were actually very old "Cal Custom" wrinkle finish cast that I sanded, polished, and painted myself....

I'd be realy suprised if it gets that high. The hydraulic roller is quite mild, and was picked for the stop and go traffic of the Chicagoland area that I am cursed with. If it doesn't blow up on dyno day...... I'll definitly post the results.
Thanks for all the encouragment.
Eddie

Looks great. And from following your posts you really went after all the details. It should roar.

Good luck on start-up.

That's impressive. What style hood are you running? The intake manifold looks too high to clear a stock hood.
