Ever since ive had my '77, the upper door panel screw holes have been rounded out, along with the door pull handle screw holes, and the sill plate screw holes.
I have all my interior out at the moment and want to get these repaired.
Have a couple of rapair ideas myself but wondered if thairs a 'standard procedure' for this kind of repair.Im guessing thairs alot of C3's like this now.
Didnt just want to put bigger screws in though-The upper door pannel ones look ugly enough standard!
Auto makers today use plastic push in nuts that go into square or sometimes round holes that flare out when you put the screw in. I am not sure if they are available at the hardware store or auto stores. once you find one just make sure you create the right size hole in the inner panel metal.
