Default Brake Problems

I have a question on possible brake problem.

When I am driving at say 40mph and hit the brakes hard, the car pulls to the right. I don't hear a noise it just pulls to the right.

Any thoughts.

Does the car itself pull to the right...or does the wheel move to the right with it?

If the wheel pulls to the right along with the car, then you have a braking issue. If ONLY the car pulls it may just be an alignment issue.

Driver's side caliper is not working properly. Either it's bad or you need to bleed your brakes. Another possibility is a bad rotor on the D/S or a leaking caliper or brake line.

Does it only pull to the right only when you step on the brakes? If so that's because your passenger side front brakes are working and the driver's side are not. If it pulls to the right even while your driving then it's probably an alignmment issue like Durango_Boy said.

Mine did the exact same thing when I first test drove it. The left front caliper was frozen and not grabbing the rotor. Once it worked itself free, the pulling to the right stopped.

Also, look at the inside of the left side tires and see if you notice any brake fluid leaking down the tire.

Good luck,
Dino

Default How do you fix it

could it be a clogged line? or do I just swap out the caliper.

Default Problem solved

Did a brake job on the front this past saturday. Everything went well, and even bled them via Gravity with no Problem.

Thanks to Tracdogg he is the master.
