A number of you guys seem to enjoy and make use of the tech articles page on my website.
Just wanted to make you aware that I added a few more articles up this morning and also that I tried to organize the page a little better.
The type of file sharing page within my website building program that I use for this page limits what I can do to seperate or organize the files but I found a way to at least try to seperate and organize them in some type of logical manner to make things easier to find which I think was needed because of the growing number of files listed.
I hope this helps a little.
As always, if you need an article, help yourself. Clicking on the article name will open it and if you right-click on the article name it will allow you to download the article to your own computer.
Many thanks for the site! People like you make things a little easier for the rest of us. Its nice to have a comprehensive index of information at our finger tips.
I am unable to open the articles. I click on the article name, a browser page opens but nothing happens.
Thanks
They're all pdf files...the better way to view them would be to right-click the article link and choose "save target." That way they're downloaded to your machine and will load faster.
Cobaltblue and SanDiegoPaul, sorry you guys were having trouble accessing the site. I host the site currently on my own computer here at home and I was doing some heavyduty Photoshop work with very large files and than some video editing work on this same computer earlier today and both processing takes up a lot of computer processing power - perhaps you were trying to access the site during that time. Other than that I am not sure the reason you both were having problems, During the last year or so I've had the site up no one has complained of any major page loading speed issues or download problems. At least not that they mentioned to me about it.
It IS an older computer though (about 6 or 7 years old now) so the processor is significantly slower than a more modern machine and if i'm doing intensive work on it like earlier today I can understand speed issues cropping up during those times.
