They are correct. I know what you are thinking -- there must be a left and a right, right? There is not, they use the same bracket on both sides.

I see the problem. That chassis looks too clean. Has it been redone or is that somehow original?

It's not that odd to see an original frame in that condition. Garage cars seem to be the best, but a well maintained car will stay clean as well.

gm beancounters, why make 2 brackets if you can use one on both sides, even if it doesn't fit properly...just splatter some poor weld beads on and move along..the poor sap buying the car will never know.
